Express Your Gratitude

The boy stopped complaining about having a good pair of shoes, when he met someone without feet

The following video is called Miniature Earth and is an excellent way to compare your life positively to others.

Express Your Gratitude – If we could turn the population of the earth into a small community of 100 people, keeping the same proportions we have today, it would be something like in this video. The miniature earth project was created to help motivate you to express your gratitude for what you have by giving to those who have less.

This is one of the best videos that you will watch to motivate you to express your gratitude.

Personally – when I feel that life becomes too much, I just take the time to watch this video.  It reminds me of just how lucky we really are.

We would love to hear your comments below on this video and please share this with others.   They will get a lot from this.

Have a grateful week.

How grateful do you feel about the things that you have in your life? I’d love to read your comments below ..

do you think – Stress is a choice?

    • Hi Maggie – yes – I really do believe stress is a choice. You can choose to worry about something, or you can choose not to. I have a client that when something negative happens to him, he celebrates. He always thinks that its just a positive in disguise. many people would experience stress is they have some of the negative situations that this client has -but he literally celebrates it. Its just a choice – however I do believe we sometime need education and experience to help us realise that this is a choice.

I have a gratitude journal and every day I list 10 things I am grateful for. It helps keep me to stay balanced and maintain perspective in my life. Watching this little video reminded me of why I keep my gratitude journal. We are truly blessed. Thanks Andrew for sharing.

  • Wow! really don’t have the words to explain how I feel at this moment. Even worse… don’t know how to react on what I’m feeling right now.

    Thank you for sharing

  • Love it, thanks!!

  • GW

I must admit after watching that, I’m feeling total ridiculous with my so called “problems” and all the worry I associate with them… Many thanks Andrew, keep up the good work!

Brilliant, thank you Andrew for sharing. It will be hard to say that we have a bad days comparing to at least 75% of the world, food for thought.

  • 75 percent of the worlds population without a roof over their head. Staggering statistic. Certainly adds perspective to our everyday ‘worries’.

Thank you for sharing. I believe this will be a big wake up call for many.

  • JP

I love the stats on food, clothing n shelter – my grandmom often used to say that if you have food to eat n water to bath you shouldn’t stress out on anything but I never really paid heed :/
Thankfully I’ve realized this in the recent past and am now grateful for everything 🙂

    Thanks Andrew for reiterating!

  • Liz

I’m very grateful for what I have in my life. However I foreseeable circumstances course stress and I don’t see how this is a choice. The choice is his we deal with stress it harder to put the choice into practice

Thank you Andrew on a posting a great video and excellent reminder on what we, in the western world have to be greatful for, yet the majority of us move too quickly to see it…or know it. When reminded it brings me back to be “being present” and valuing. … it also reminded me of “I feel no need for any other faith than my faith in human beings” – Pearl Buck. 1939
